Two sources are better than one! The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation, the national broadcaster for the UK and a statutory corporation) also has country profiles. They aren’t updated as frequently as the ones in the CIA World Factbook, and you may need to know the former name of a country if it’s changed recently, but you’ll get slightly different information and a different perspective.
