The CIA World Factbook is, clearly given the name, made by the Central Intelligence Agency. It contains national level information about countries around the world, including language spoken, mortality rates, and major economic industries. If you want to look at past Factbooks to see how things have changes, they have downloadable versions of the Factbook from 2000 to 2020.
